  6. From Vei Ann Wagay:

    sir robert,
hello. Just finished my interview with Mr. Stewart. I think he is the new one.He is in his mid 40s I think, wears eye glasses, smiles all the time, opens the door for me.and also he lives in Panglao, Bohol. hehe..
I was interviewed 7.15pm instead of my 8.20 scheduled. It was a bit awkward, because according to the facilitator stewart is already waiting for me. Luckily, when I asked him if i was late, he said that I was not. thank God. Siguro bag o lang nahuman ang previous interview.anyway, i think sir we should advice students to be at the venue for atleast 2 hours before the time.
All the questions asked were the same questions you gave us. Task 1: tell me about your name? do you like fashion? where do you live? in a house or in an apartment? describe to me your house.Task 2: talk about a shop. task 3: questions about credit cards.
I hope his smiles meant i passed the exam.. hahaha....
    God bless Sir

  7. Thank you very much Sir Rob. Lumabas lahat tinuro mo. All the questions that were asked from me in the speaking test were in the March 2010 compilation. Ang galing nyo sir... Sana pasado kami lahat. :-)

  8. Hi sir Rob. Ang sa akin naman, the speaking test questions were from the February Compilation. While I was answering the questions, I could still remember the ideas shared by ma'am Joyce with us during the speaking inputs. Thank you talaga. Sana I can make it.

  9. Hi TSAA! I found the 4th section of the listening test way easier than the part where we were asked to complete a map. Grabe ka challenging ang map labelling uy. In general, the level of difficulty in the listening test was the same as the ones we've had during the dry run week. The reading test was average while the writing part was easy as sir Rob was able to predict the type of question asked in the essay part. Grabe dyud ka sir Rob. GALING!!! The questions in the speaking test were all discussed in the dry run. May follow up questions lang na medyo unexpected. I wish i pass the test. Thank you...

  10. Hello folks! I just finished my interview with Mr. Williamson. I think he's aged 40-50 yrs. He enunciates every word he says clearly. He also opened the door for me and he smiles all throughout the interview. However, He is very conscious with the time. I had so many ideas to share during the task 2, but I was pressed for time so I wasn't really able to finish my "monologue". I hope that's a plus for me since I was able to exceed the time limit, as what you constantly say to us Sir Robert that it's way better if the examiner will cut you off in the task 2 than be prompted to say more about the topic...the questions that came out in my interview was more on the elderly. I was really relieved because I was able to recall all the things that you and Ma'am Joyce shared with us. All in all, I think the exam was manageable and I hope I was able to get at least 7 in all of the 4 modules. With regards to the Writing task 2, I can recall that it was discussed at the TSAA last year...Your predictions are really very accurate, Sir! Thanks for the tips and all the inputs that all of you gave us! I hope we all achieve the band scores that we are aiming for! Good day!

  11. hello TSAA!

i was one of the people interviewed by Mr. Williamson. he looks nice and i think he's in his late 40's. he smiled frequently during the interview, and he also shook hands with me after.generally, he made the interview less anxiety-provoking through his attitudes.

My task 1 questions are the following: Tell me something about your name. Describe the place where you live in. What's the transportation like? where do you and your friends usually meet up? where do you prefer meeting up with friends? at home or some other venue? Do you like reading? what kind of materials? Task 2. Talk about an instance when someone helped you? Who? How? why important? Task 3. Follow up questions about task 2. why do people allow others to borrow money from them? what are the factors to consider whom to help?

Funny thing was he was curious about my answer that he asked me a question which is not in his guide. He told me he has Filipino in-laws who usually borrow money from him and his wife.he asked me if Filipinos do really intend to pay the amount they have borrowed. so i explained to defend our countrymen..hahaha we ended up laughing after.. whew! tough one.. lol

i just hope he finds my answers satisfying..
and im still praying for good outcomes in all tests that i took. the review in TSAA, indeed, helped me get through with it. i just have to wait for the exam results.
Thank you to all lecturers and interviewers at TSAA! God speed! keep it up!
