  8. Hi sir,
I just finished my interview. Mrs. Donna Flint was my interviewer. She's not that intimidating at all. It's as if I was talking to my grandmother. I'm so thankful, at least I was to compose myself.
Here are the questions asked from me, but I can't remember some of them.

    Part 1:
What is your preference when it comes to fashion?
    What do you usually wear?
Would you change the way you wear when you get old?

    Part 2:
Talk about a family you enjoy spending the time with? Who? Why? How did they influence you?

    Part 3:
What is the importance of family?
What is the responsibility of the siblings to each other?
Is extended family a tradition here in the Philippines?
What are the activities that both young and old members of the family can do together?
Is it the responsibility of each member of the family to financially support each other?

Yan lng maalala ko. I hope this could help.

TSAA thank you s much for supplying us the speaking inputs... It indeed helped me answer the questions. Kaya lng I hope I did great sa delivery ko...

I will continue to suggest TSAA to my friends and other people who are going to take IELTS.

For those who haven't been interviewed yet, just read your notes and remember the key points. Most of the questions are found there. They are just being rephrased. Good luck sa inyo..You can do it.

TSAA more power and God Bless. I hope you continue to produce IELTS passers. And I hope, I would be one of them.

Listening, Reading, and Writing n lng... AJA!!!! God Bless to everyone.

  22. pwede mag pa admit sa mental hospital? mura kog mabuang!!! grabehhh.......

sir rob, i literally just got home. i'm still wearing my business attire and all. nag dali jud kog comment dri ky grabeh jud ang mishap nga nahitabo sakoa krng hapon.

let this be a lesson to all... tanga man gud koh. wag sanang tularan hehehe

i was leaving for Marco Polo more than 2 hours before my interview (luckily!)... i hailed a cab and realized that i'd forgotten something (something nga gipahatag sa akong ate kay Doc Nalupa). i told the driver to drop by our house so i could pick up that certain thing. since i didn't think it would take me long to get it, i left my bag and my blazer inside the taxi. when i went back out after having taken that certain "something", WALA NA ANG TAXI! gidala nya akong gamit! waaaaaaaaaaaaa as in!! kahilakon kaau koh! -- bsta ang nahitabo ky maintain composure ky na feel mn nko nga partly sala nako (tanga), gitawagan nko ang cab company, gi explain nako nga kelangan kaayo nako akong ID, ana koh bahala na kng dli nya iUli da rest of my stuff bsta naa lng jd ang ID (dli man pud tawun xa makinabang sakong bag ky wa mn koh dala celfon ug igo lng pang pliti ang kwarta!bwahaha) tps mao toh... haay ambot! gihatod nya aknog mga gamit sa Marco Polo (na realize cgro sa driver nga wa tawun xay makuha hahaha). naka abot koh 1 hour and 45 minutes before my schedule (thank God!).

anyway, sa interview, c Michael Soucier/Seuss akong interviewer (sooooz sus ginoo!)

b4 xa nag start sa interview, nag explain pa xa sa procedure and all tps particular kaau xa nga kng mag state koh sakong name, dli daw kelangan i-spell...daghan nag ingon nga preceding interviewees nga distracting jud lagi daw kaau xa ky cgeg dula2x sa iyang chair, dli mutanaw sa interviewee tps murag dli maminaw, appears bored lagi jd daw.

nag plano kog approach sa iya 2ng 1st tym pa lng nako nadungog about sa iya. tps gi apply jud intawun nako even after sa nahitabong very stressful event (chaps!haha)... ang approach nko, whenever possible, mag inject kog jokes sakong answers. dli jud as in joke, pro knang something funny gud. for example kd2ng sa cooking2x nga question, nag interject kog something about nga wla koh naanad to cook for 1 person mao ng naga end up kog luto something good for 4 servings tps ako ray mukaon tanan mao ng ing-ani koh ka dako. mu smile xa every now and then sa mga jokes pro dli jd xa as in mukatawa. tps grabeh... grabeh xa mututok! mura kog gina hubuAn! waaaaaaaaaa ...ganahan pd ang begz mao gi ganahan ug storya hahahaha

    bsta akong questions ky kani:

    part1
    -name
    -studying?working?
-have you taken the exam before?
    -do you like to cook?

  23. Sorry for the late posting. From Marco Polo, I had to rush to DDH to visit my goddaughter and then attend a party after. So far, no Venus Raj moment although I felt I could have done better. Anyway, no use dwelling on this. Wait na lang sa results.

Contrary to expectations, DF seemed to be very serious. I was one of her last interviewees so I perceived murag low batt na siya. She opened the door for me and at the end of the interview, ushered me out of the room.

I think my questions in Parts 2 and 3 are new.

    Part 1

    Describe your job.
Why is it important to like your job?
Which do you prefer: watch movies in the cinema or at home?
What type of movies do you watch?
How often do you watch movies?
Which do you prefer, watch movies alone or with somebody?
How many languages do you know?
How were you exposed to English at an early age?

    Part 2

Describe something you bought that you have to save for?
    What was it?
    How much?
How long did you save for it?
Explain how you feel after buying it?

(She initially forgot to provide me with a pencil. Patas lang pud mi, because I forgot to return it after. Hay, mga senior citizens talaga!)

    Part 3

What can you say about the standard of living in different countries?
(I cannot remember exactly, but I think we also discussed about the standard of living vis-a-vis happiness)
Do you think the standard of living equates to the quality of life? (I was taken aback by this academic question, nakagamit jud ko ug terms na ‘paradoxical’ and talked about the factors affecting the quality of life index).
Do you think the standard of living of majority of the world’s population will improve in the future?
I heard that many Americans live paycheck to paycheck. What’s your opinion?

Sir Rob, Sir Danni, Ma'am Leah and to all my classmates, thanks for the wonderful TSAA experience. Good luck! MTSC

  24. academic reading was very difficult. especially passage2. entirely different style.years, months, countries, specific information, you'll end up reading it more than you expected. i then jumped to the next passage, to my dismay, it's still not easy, i dnt know if it's because i'm running out of time or i just can't move on thinking about passage 2.ending, i missed some numbers. God! hope we can make it tsaa's!
